I have the website ads with google adsense also new to adsense. I read about that 1000 Page impressions we get 6$.

Totally 1043 page impressions and effective CPM is 4.94$ for 10 days - 45 Clicks - and my total earnings 5.15$.

It's Ok.

But the 1000 impressions i'm not getting 6$. What is the problem? Can anyone tell about this terms? Is the 1000 impressions are for 1 day only or not?

I read about that 1000 Page impressions we get 6$.

Every site is different. Some people earn more than $6 per 1,000 impressions, and some people earn less. (The amount of revenue is not fixed--it depends on how much advertisers bid, how many users click on ads, etc.)

Thanks for your reply.

Actually i get only $ for clicks, this $5.15 is total of daily earnings of 0.5$-day1, 1.3$-day2, 0.2$-day3 like that.

but i need the information, that the google gives 6$ for 1000 impressions on single day or every 1000 impressions on multiple days?

reply about that.

Google gives you 6$ every hour if you send them an email and ask them politely to do so!
It worked for me, just try it! :-)

google only pays for clicks, they don't pay for impressions. If that's what you're asking.

Impressions do not effect how much you earn. In general, obviously the more visitors, the more likely that you'll get a higher click count .. but the things to focus on are:

Posistioning and Colours of the Adsense Block
How related the Ads are and how good your content is

I've had an EPM (earning per 1,000 pageviews) well below 50 cents, and well, well above 50$. it varies.

1000 * CTR * PPC = EPM.

In other news President Bush today signed into law the “No Googler left behind Act” In this act a minimum dollar per hour rate was established for Adsense at $3.00 an hour. Bush commented on North Korean click fraud being one reason for the lesser rate then the minimum wage, and growing concern about Iraq’s “Oil for Adsense Accounts” program.

I don't know where you heard/read about Google having a $6 EPM. Google has no set (and published) payout rate. How much you make for every given 1000 impressions (if that's the measurement you want to use) varies greatly depending on many factors. Factors include:
1. Specific Ad clicked on
2. The topic of your site
3. Historical conversion data probably from the Conversion tracker in AdWords.
4. and more...

Rumor has it many AdSense pays a much higer EPM for some sites/users than $6, and much lower than $6 for others. The only way to find out how much you will paid is to try the program, and look back historically over time.

There are also things you can do to increase your EPM by increasing your click through rate. The best examples are to try different ad colors or different Ad shapes/sizes in different locations on the page. It is not unheard of to as much as double or more your CTR by performing simple layout, location, or color changes to AdSense box.

To answer you question in a sentence: There is no such thing as a set $6 EPM rate for AdSense. Either your source was misinformed, or telling you their specific results.

My CMP is never below $50 most of the time over $100 and one time I had a channel that got $950 for one day.

Wow! I've never got anywhere near that with the Adsense banners. Just to make sure your numbers don't go annoying everyone to the point of Google receiving thousands of emails saying "Oi! How come ...." maybe you could tell us the industry your in with that CPM?

Obviously if your in the gardening industry your CPM is going to be alot lower than the legal industry. I just thought that should be raised.

We're getting around 100,000 impressions a month and the CPM varies dramatically from day to day. Some days can be $20 CPM and the next can be $2, all with the same number of clickthroughs. Remember, not all advertisers are advertising all the time with the same CPC all the time.

Also, my Adsense banner CPM bounces from $2 to $20 per day but the Adsense for Search can be anywhere from $10-$40 CPM obviously because people are specifically searching for something rather than being distracted by an ad. Which are you talking about?

I get the impression that dthamu is asking whether he gets an additional payout when impressions reach 1000, which is totally incorrect.

BTW, high cpm is not the be-all end-all. Have a few channels that go over 4digit cpm, but maintaining traffic is the problem.

internetheaven, part of it depends upon what you are trying to do with your site. If you produce a site which offers nothing for the reader but an intermediate link between SERPs and Google Ads, you will get a higher CTR. And if you focus the subject of such a site on a high CPC subject, you stand to make quite a bit of money. Hence, if you're cool with being a spammer, there's a lot of money to be made with relatively little work.

My CPM is always at a thousand, not one less or one higher. Can I anyone beat mine?

Wow, with more than million impressions I get, I would be a very rich guy with $50 CPM. Even with $5 :)

Posting links is a violation of WW TOS. That being said...

Adsense seems counter-productive on a site like yours as the ads showing (and the probable inventory) link to your competition. I doubt if they pay well, but I do see how a visitor to your site would be motivated to try other similar sites - its just the nature of the industry. I would suggest an approach that is a little counter culture these days an try to keep your visitors in your site and sell them various levels and options of your service.

I believe you are selling yourself short if you are happy with the hopes of $6 per thousand impressions. Driving visitors to your competitors for $.05 or $.10 a click seems short-sighted in your industry, but I don't know your economy or culture. If a $.05 click is worth losing a potential subscriber to the competition then go for it.

Yes you may want to remove your url before a mod does. Also I would humbly recommend re-reading the AS TOS because you are not supposed to have the ads on log in pages etc.
