Like most people my sites are getting crowded with Google chrome ads. Due to panda my sites have also been heavily penalised, so i am not only seeing constant google chrome ads but am also losing potential clicks because of lack of visitors (currenlty down 60% on this time last year.
It is no good me complaining, because it won't get me anywhere. So if google doesn't want me to succeed then I don't want google to succeed either - well not on my site anyway. I have already removed some google ad units but now I want to stop Google chrome from being driectly advertised.
I have added www.google.com, www.google.co.uk, google.com and google.co.uk to my adsense 'block ads' list nut I still see the google chrome ads on my sites. I am obviously doing something wrong, but can't fathom out what so, how do i prevent google ads (chrome in particular) from being advertised on my websites?
My revenue has already dropped to well below the minimum google payout for the last three months (the last time it did that was when I first joined Google adsense 6 or 7 years ago) so loosing google chrome ads isn't going to bring a tear to my eye.
Any suggestions?
