From the Inside Adsense blog:
Our resolutions to improve AdSense for you
...The main areas of improvement that emerged from the survey are: AdSense Program Policies, AdSense Support, and Communication from AdSense.

and Communication from AdSense

How long have they been working on that? First they love the publishers then it's back to the wall of silence. How many times has a new AdSense Advisor popped in promising a new day in publisher relations only to disappear after gathering a ton of good feedback?

I would love it if Google committed itself to communicating with publishers. It's not enough to have one foot in the Google blog and another foot on twitter. That's self-promotion, not communication.

WebmasterWorld has been a source of quality feedback that has helped Google improve it's program in hundreds of ways. If Google is serious about communicating with publishers then they really have to make a commitment with both feet on the same ground as publishers.

I'm not entirely sure that the lack of participation here by Google is their own decision.
