Maximum ad units per account

I know there’s a maximum of 200 channels that you can have in your account, but do you know if there’s also a limit to how many ad units you can have in one account?

I have many websites on the same Adsense account so my list of ad units is getting long, many of these units I don’t use anymore.

200 channels is not the limit. Many longer-term publishers have more than 200 channels.

I don't know of a limit on the number of ad units. Google consistenly encourages publishers to add more, just as long as the number per page rules are followed.

I have 500 channels available however I do not use them all but if I wanted to track every URL I have I'd need tens of thousands and my sites are small compared to some.

many of these units I don’t use anymore.

Why not delete them and free-up some channels?
