under 18 adsense rule on gambling ads?

hi

according to an email from google you can opt in to recieve adsense gambling ads. in the email it states "Finally, publishers may not opt in to receiving ads from this new category if their sites are intended for individuals under 18 years of age".

My sites have a wide range of niches including some game cheat sites and flash game sites, which although not specifically targeted at under 18's they are bound to recieve some traffic that is under 18.

I want to display these ads if possible, but don't want my account banned. Has anyone received any clarification regarding this issue?

Normally I'd say if you were not specifically targeting kids, you'd probably be okay, but game sites are different; even if not targeting kids, they do naturally tend to attract that kind of traffic. Personally, I'd not risk it.

thanks netmeg, yes that was my thinking also, it's a shame you can't turn it on and off on specific urls.
