Adsense Cheques in French banks

Are there french guys here who could tell me if there is a way to prevent the loss of 40% of the amount on every single cheque during the transaction?

I bank at Crédit Agricole and they charge 15 euros for each non French check cashed. You might try looking around, there has to be a bank out there that charges less than that. Note: I cash my AdSense checks in the USA.
