Please help,

My adsense account is still active, but ads have been disabled on my site.

I added a chitika ad to a single page a few days ago, but remove it before this email was sent.

The paragraph under
violations found
is stange as my site provides origninal content and is high in the serps.

Please could anyone offer advice.

I have submited an application for resubmission - what are my chances of success?

Hello,

During a recent review of your account we found that you are currently displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our program
policies (https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=48182&stc=aspe-1pp-en).

--------------------------------------------------
EXAMPLE PAGE: [snip]

Please note that this URL is an example and that the same violations may exist on other pages of this website or other sites in your network.

VIOLATION(S) FOUND:

It is important for a site displaying AdSense to offer significant value to the user by providing unique and relevant content, and not to place ads on auto-generated pages or pages with little to no original content.

Your site should also provide a good user experience through clear
navigation and organization. Users should be able to easily click through your pages and find the information they are seeking.

Please review Google's Webmaster Quality Guidelines (
[google.com...] ) for more information.

ACTION TAKEN: We have disabled ad serving to your site.

ACCOUNT STATUS: ACTIVE
Your AdSense account remains active. However, please note that our team reserves the right to disable your account at any time. As such, we encourage you to become familiar with our program policies and monitor your network accordingly.

Scraped content and no privacy policy are two things I see that violate the TOS.

I have not scraped any content. The page mentioned by google has not been altered for over a year.

What do you mean by no privacy policy?

This is very confusing as surely if I scraped content I would be penalised in the serps.

No disrespect, but the standard of your English here, is totally different to what is on your site.

Copy some of your articles into Google. Someone is scraping someone... and not just one site.

If you are asking about what a privacy policy is, then you need to update yourself by reading the TOS and guidelines.

It is also clear that you did not read the WebmasterWorld TOS also.

I have never understood why people come here (or to other boards) for advice on disabled sites/accounts AFTER they have already submitted their appeal...

I agree.

And if I am correct, the OP didn't alter anything on their site and just submitted for a resubmission. If that is the case, then it won't be allowed back in as the violation[s] will still be there.

Then people don't write a well thought out, concise appeal explaining what changes they made to fix the problem and how they plan to avoid any further violations. Sent appeals copy and pasted to Google! help boards asking for further advice often go something like this:

"Hello Google! You disable my account! I need my money and not make any violation what you say! Please look at site and tuen on account! I no do bad! Please!"

The violation has been removed.

Please excuse my nativity but to receive this email was a complete shock. Please note, Google has not disabled my account, just my site.

I think I know the cause of problem. I placed an ad link next to external links. I was not deliberately trying to blend in ads with content, but can understand Google’s response. I have been with adsense for over 5 years and experienced no issues regarding violations of their policy.

I have fixed the problem, and would just like to know how realistic my chances are of having my site ads re-enabled.

You think you know the cause, yet the violation has been removed. Unless you know for sure, how do you say its been removed ?

And what about the privacy policy ? Still not added it ?

And you have a lot more to do now by raising untold DMCA's because there are a number of sites out there that are using your "original" work.

LW, lighten up. All sam77 did was say "Please help." He has listened to you, I think. Chill.

If you closed your ears and opened your eyes, you will see that I am helping him.

I still didn't see a privacy policy...so, unless you know more than I do, I suggest you chill.

The OP obviously hasn't read the Adsense email as the violation they stated in the email is not what's being posted as being corrected. The email plainly states auto-generated or non-unique content, nothing about ad placement. Additionally, the email complained about your site navigation, not Chitika ad placements.

I would yank adsense off that site ASAP so it's off Google's radar so you don't risk losing your account, fix it, then ask them politely if it's acceptable to put Adsense back on the site later.

This is going nowhere good, people getting heated, closing this thread.

Good luck with the site.
