This is an opt-in program. If you don't opt-in then you won't see the gambling ads.

Can I opt-in for individual sites or do I have to opt-in for all sites on my account?

I wonder how long until I can put AdSense on my gambling website? I see it on horseracing sites all the time.

They don't have any way to opt in or out per site; wish they did. I span a bunch of niches, but my family oriented sites mean that all my ads need to be okay for all ages.

Family status

Google assigns a family status to all ads to make sure that ads are shown to an appropriate audience. Please note that since we consider gambling-related products to be intended for adults, ads promoting online gambling will be given a Non-Family Safe status if they adhere to our policies. Ads promoting acceptable gambling-related products will be given a Family Safe status.

Does this mean AdSense is no long going to be family safe?

I never knew promoting gambling to children was "family safe" - what kind of gambling is acceptable for children?

Gambling-related. Playing cards and poker chips. Any of the physical components of bingo. I don't see a lot of AdSense ads for racehorses, but I don't suppose it would be against the rules. Caribbean vacations, even if the island's most important Cabinet position is the minister of Internet and Gaming. (IANMTU) Just because you customarily bet on something, doesn't mean the "something" itself is beyond the pale.

Those were always allowed. I've got a casino-supplier for a client; have been running as for the supplies for years. In the old days I'd occasionally get flagged, but once I'd ask for an exception and demonstrate I was advertising supplies and not gaming, they went right through.

I'm in the UK and they offered it to me a couple of weeks ago. Problem is they blocked my Adsense account two years ago, and to the best of my knowledge it's still blocked.

I too am in the UK and the gambling ad stipulation is that site visitors must be over the age of 18 before you can opt into the gambling ads. As my sites are computer related (help and support)I am unable to opt in because there is nothing stopping users under the age of 18 accessing my sites.
