This refers to a side comment Brett made, in a post in the Google SEO forum -

Look at it this way; now that AdSense has tanked for many, it gives those old click rings fresh work ;-) It's like a Google jobs program.

Google incorporates blocked sites into search results [webmasterworld.com]

Not for me, or should I say not in my niche.

Where have you been?

Never heard of the Panda slashing bamboo as though it was never to be needed again?

Seriously though, my AdSense earnings are 45% of a year ago and I have the MOST focussed sites for my widget industry and I have no idea why overnight they did it to me.

Certainly there have been winners and losers but still some of us are still extremely puzzled after seeing by what many quality sites were replaced.

Totally. Maybe not for everyone, but for me things have become disastrous, despite the fact my sites keep getting better - more content, more targeted traffic, etc. I keep putting it off but I'm going to try out new ad networks soon and see if they perform better for me.

@huskypup..

It's a given that any site(s) hit by Panda are going to lose their Adsense income stream.

I thought Brett's comment meant that he thinks Adsense is tanking everywhere... not just Panda effected sites.

Well exactly what type of sites are hit by panda the most?

I think sites hit by Panda lose especially on the best commercial keywords and are left with traffic difficult to monetize, which translates into an even bigger Adsense loss than the corresponding traffic loss.

What did the Panda Update do?

Although those whose sites were negatively impacted think that the Panda Update was a punishment for having low value content (And in many ways it was), a better way to think of the update is as a reward to those sites with great content. This change marks the beginning of a clear opportunity to improve your position in the search engines by focusing your efforts on content.
