AdSense impressions differ widely from Analytics page views

Two months ago impressions went up, pageviews stay the same

Hi guys.

I have a web-site in which I have both AdSense and Analytics. Everything was okay for some years... then suddenly in AdSense I see my impressions going up - by over 100%. (I look at the URL channel of my site).

But in Analytics - I see only a very slight change (of about 5%) in page views.

The good news is that revenue has gone up by around 40% - so I'm thinking something good happened - but for some reason Analytics ignores this... as far as I know I'm running the Analytics code on all my pages (it's in the most basic page template, so it has to be on every page).

Any ideas why this might be?

Ron

Have you read the Adsense help?
Why do my statistics differ between AdSense and Analytics?
[google.com...]
Analytics does not include link units, search boxes, or mobile ads.

Thanks Leonard,

I read that. Most of this informs on cases where Analytics "inflates" page views compared to the AdSense interface impressions. My case is opposite. I can't imagine so many people have disabled cookies...

Just to be clear: I'm comparing Analytics pageviews to the AdSense Interface impressions. I'm not using the AdSense stats in Analytics...
