Scraping your own earnings page

Is this against the TOS?

Which of my ad units performs the best changes daily, so I'd like to create some way to monitor their performance in realtime and use that info to serve the current best-performing ad units more frequently.

With a bit of poking around I've found this project: [code.google.com...] , which (as far as I understand) can log into your adsense account and scrape the results page. This would be useful to me, but is it against the terms of service to scrape your own adsense reports?

As long as you're not giving out that information publicly, and only using it for your own purposes, then I don't think there is an issue.

I think you could get in trouble for doing that. According to the TOS at [google.com...] Section 5.5.3, it is against the rules to use an automated method to request anything from any Google website.

Have you tested it? I had a similar kind of script long back. But it stopped working when google changed their adsense code.
I think test it first and if it works then ask adsense support for clarification.

Thanks
Rajiv

The project linked in the original post still seems to be active, so I assume it works. Maybe I can clear this up by asking on the AdSense support forum.
