Adsense in Your City Toronto Aug 16 and NYC Aug 17&18

A week ago on Friday, July 29th I got an invitation to Adsense in your City with a choice of Toronto on Aug 16 and New York City on Aug 17&18.
The message first arrived in my Adsense interface message box then a few hours later by email.
I signed up that morning for the closer of the two. After waiting a week for a reply, I was beginning to wonder if I had messed up the registration. Finally it arrived yesterday evening.

There is going to be a 1 hour presentation followed by one-on-one 20 minute optimization sessions. Should be interesting.
I think that you have to fill out a form to receive an invitation, as mentioned in this Adsense blog post from a year ago:

I submitted it after the first seminars were announced.

Went to the one in my town about 2 weeks ago. The presentation was good but really pretty basic information if you've been doing this awhile. There were about 25 people invited and the best part was meeting others who do the same thing that I do (most people have no idea what I do).

The one on one meeting with one of the Adsense team was good, too, although I really just wanted verification that my sites are well within their guidelines. Overall, it was good morning (and how many people get to go inside Google offices :o)
