I need an affiliation via G affiliates

how do you find an advertiser?

I am new to Google affiliates (due to the Amazon fiasco in CT)
I am now set up with Barnes and Nobel

This Google affiliates program opens a few possibilities, I am actually searching for an advertiser specialized in cooking supplies, kitchen supplies etc.
I tried among their categories in Restaurants and in Home category, but it looks like there are not any advertisers in those categories.
I could understand that they would not have yet, for example, a kitchen pro chefs supplier, that would make sense.
But if I select purely "Home" even without product definition, it also results in "No Advertisers"
I suppose I do not know how to search for an advertiser within Google affiliates.
Any input?

Got it! FYI, one needs to switch to "classical view"
as is it looks like G affiliates network in default view misses the join link</edit>

Well, my problem is resolved,
and AdSense and G-affiliates dance on the same bit as they are tied.
The Beta G affiliate network is based on AdSense engine (asfaIk)
