468x60 text only - now have urls but they extend under the adchoices?

My 468x60 text only ad units now show big underlined url's and some of those extend right underneath the Adchoices text. Is this a permanent change? It's ugly.

I have noticed that too on my site and a few others. It looks bad!

Doesn't surprise me after what happened to the 336 and 300 rectangles. It's pretty clear to me that the content network is where tests of all kinds are being done. "Let's put the URL next to the title and see what happens to CTR. Ok now that we've done that, let's underline the URLs and see what happens." I never see ads like these on Google, just us.

With the 336 ads with the URLS next to the title - I've been seeing that on every site now that has that sized ad - before some sites still had the old format. It's performing poorly on my site, and I have a hard time believing it's performing better than the old format on any site. It looks much more ad-like than the old format, but maybe that's what they were going for. I was hoping they were just testing it for a few days, but now it's everywhere. I guess it's time to experiment with the colors now.
