Right, let's compare the size of our losses the Panda has inflicted so far!

Page Impressions -27.27%
Clicks -25.35%
CTR The same!
eCPM -13.17%
Earnings -37.04%

Bear in mind the first 5 days for me were pre-Panda 2.1 therefore the overall figures could have been worse but are continuing at the same levels.

Just as a quick comparison to May 2010 my earnings were -42.55%

Not a lot left to lose now is there?

Now I now why Pandas are a protected species...no, no, no, don't go there HP!

My earnings usually increase this time of year. The more amazing number is that May 2011 earnings were 182% of May 2010. I think I said 200% last night but was looking at April 2010.

Annual indicators are only good to your own site, not among others, since. I started my sites 3 years ago, and they canīt be compared to 6 years old sites. For example, my earnings went up 2000% from May 2010 to May 2011. but from April 2011 to May 2011 they went down 10%.

Sure, I'll play your silly game (ork ork)

Page Impressions +229.21%
Clicks +245.97%
CTR +5.09%
eCPM -10%
Earnings +163.12%

of course, that means *nothing* because that site is seasonal and the season started in May, roughly.

A better comparison would maybe be May 2011 vs May 2010.

And the answer is? I did include mine:

Just as a quick comparison to May 2010 my earnings were -42.55%

Horrendous, just horrendous, trying to keep with the previous year's earning was difficult enough but this Panda has chewed my bamboo to pieces!

I was at the recent iab meeting in D.C. and the Google guy said that Panda has been considered a success and that Google is really stressing quality over quantity, that even a few unauthoritative pages on a site can cause SERP problems. And hence revenue drops.

that even a few unauthoritative pages on a site can cause SERP problems.

Spin...governmental spin...when the situation is outta control blame everyone else for their problems, never, ever admit to being wrong.

How else could pages within sites that Google had determined for years were the authority pages otherwise be almost eliminated and replaced by garbage and/or scrapers?

Why do BingHooDDGDex still rate them as the best?

Google's got alzheimer's and is in complete denial since they cannot remember. My mother has alzheimer's, I know what it's like to have to live with!

I stopped doing comparisons like this a long time ago but thought I'd check this out. For my main site, May 2011 on May 2010 they are:

Page Impressions +40.21%
Clicks -18.84%
CTR -42.31%
eCPM +41.17%
Earnings +98.27%

The bottom line is earnings, and in truth I'm surprised at the increase. Page impressions and eCPM are also healthily increased, although CTR has fallen very significantly.

The lesson I learn from this, and thanks for the post HuskyPup, is that earnings are surprisingly up but I have absolutely no idea what is causing the increase. I have no idea what to concentrate on to continue the increase. Anyway, for that site, the Adsense situation is far better than I previously thought.
