It's a bit of a grey area sometimes

Hi folks,

I could do with a few opinions here regarding the AdSense TOS and alcohol related content. I'm aware that the terms allow for informational content related to home brewing and I also saw a thread recently relating to a site that reviewed venues and Adsense Advisors regarded this as okay to (What happened to him/her btw?).

Anyway, I have an article relating to the inequalities of pricing for house verses branded spirits. There's no sales or promotion here in my opinion, but I thought I'd just get some feedback before making a decision as to whether or not to use it.

Just checking for different kinds of spirits shows very few ads however I did find a few price comparison sites complete with, I think, premium AdSense.

Possibly the last ASA has been retired after being Pandalised!

My guess is that you will see an awful lot of alcohol addiction quitting type ads.

I suspect the ads won't be that fantastic, but there again it's an article for the visitors in this case. I'm probably just being ultra paranoid again, but there again you know how Google are these days :-/

I'm glad they've highlighted the fact that it's okay to have ads on articles about brewing techniques as I've got one in the wings there too which I kept back as I was unsure as to whether or not it was suitable.
