Google has rolled out Preview for Ad "little magnifier glass for Ad in the search result so search can see the page before they click an ad

[newsgrange.com...]

The click on the Preview of the Ad doesn't cost advertisers.

If Google were to roll this out to the content network would you accept it?

Already posted here but with seemingly no interest from publishers!

It's about trust, showing the visitor what to expect before they go.

Blame all the hucksters and fraudsters on this turn of events.

I tend to agree with you on this iBill, no doubt we'll find out when it arrives in due course.

Sounds like a good idea.

And if this thread develops the way I think it probably will, I'll think it's a double good idea.

would you accept it?

If it happens , we will have no choice ..it will be accept the new TOS ..or leave adsense..or have your account terminated.

Why worry about something totally beyond your control.

Ok now I know I'm in the wrong place. time for me to go.

Nice chatting with you guys.

Since I seen my post deleted/modified before, could a mod help me out with this.

Huh?

Did Leosghost say something that you do not agree with?

The fact is that if AdSense want to roll out something, they will, if they want to close something, they will.

As much as I dislike some of the things they do I accept them for the ease of use of the programme therefore I abide by their rules, if I didn't want to I can just as easily remove their code, job done.

I actually don't mind the idea - if it was rolled out on AdSense for content, it'd probably lead to (slightly) lower CTRs but a better quality traffic to advertisers (in theory) would probably result in a rise in eCPM.

Erm? I think that Leosghost was just pointing out the obvious, and not trying to be argumentative with it. Seems you've considered leaving a couple of times before though, so best of luck to you.

This is a great idea. The way I see it, if they are looking at previews then they are bound to click on at least one ad. You never know - this might encourage them to click on more ads.

Some people seem to like a big fanfare when they decide to leave a forum, slamming doors, request to delete all posts, weeping widows, etc. Others just don't come back.
