Adding facebook Like Button To Increase Adsense Traffic

Has anyone ever tried or are using a facebook button on their pages with adsense. If so did traffic increase and do you think it will cause a problem with adsense?

I just added it to my main website. I have to do something, traffic and earnings are down and hopefully this can help.

One thing I wont do is click the like button myself as I could see a problem there since it would show up to my facebook friends.

If you want people to share your content, then you have to make it easy for them.

Most of my pages have like buttons, and my users use them a lot.

I can't say that there's much direct earnings from Facebook, but these people bookmark my sites and share them and traffic and word of mouth are increasing in leaps and bounds, so I believe that's all to the good.

No, I don't see any conflict with AdSense, but I also don't see a ton of direct revenue there either.

As always, you have to think of USER INTENT.

I added the new "send" button a couple days ago then yanked it immediately because of horrible IE bugs that created annoying querystrings and blank pages for about 60%
Of my visitors.

I posted Facebook Like buttons on my pages. I was interesting in that few people clicked on them. On the other hand my Facebook statistics reveal that more people 'share' my content than generated by the Like button. So I guess that most Facebook users 'share' the content without the help of the Like button. What's more I get more visitors from them also. But overall is is a minor contribution to web traffic, and I removed quite a few of the Like bottons, thinking that it increases the loading time of pages, Facebook seems to get stuck sometimes.

Facebook brings in droves of visitors.. Very very few convert or click ads.

My ctr just dropped to half of normal if not more, I dont know if this is because the like button is locking pages up or what? I removed the button for today to see if my ctr will improve.

I just removed the buttons.
I have over 100 google maps tool pages and each
had a button.
Thousands of page views.
Not one click of fb buttons besides my test clicks and 2 friends.
Not one click of the fb likebutton. Thousands of page views. not one.

My normal dollar value on these pages appeared to drop.. quickly.

I had the fb like buttons up 27 days.

This could be something else but who is to say.

By noon the click value has a appeared to increase.
