I'm a firm believing in On target ads. i turn off IAB and that would only show ad based on my content

I thought

viewing my site from a friends computer and i see totally non relevant ad showing "including Obama Mortgage Credit, Qbids $99.99 IPad, and other bs spam"

I alway view my site and make sure I'm in private browsing as not to be tracked by Google to view my ads to make sure they are on topic.

after a few test i noticed that ad are different from different.

EXCEPT I'm using the laptop "even in private browsing" i use the most to manage my adsense, google account.

Google could be showing you a totally different set of ads that it's showing your visitor?

Could your CTR could be dropping because the ad being shown to your visitors suck, but when your looking at them they look fine LMAO

REGARDLESS OF IAB BEING OFF!

Something you should def check.

get a friend computer on a different connection and browse you ads.

Anyone else noticing this?

I've been "noticing" this, and telling people it was happening even if IBA were "switched off" for their sites here for near 2 years now.

Even posted it yet again in a thread here 2 months ago

IBA has been doing this since day one..and a previous ASA confirmed it to me in fora here almost as soon as IBA began.

wow! I should have search!

Guess my visitor are going to be forced to see terrible ads.

This could really be affecting my CTR.

If i work had to create a page about a niche topic, people visit the page, but they are not being shown some of the available niche ads, but instead are shown off topic ad, my CTR will suffer?

Guess there is nothing i can do about it!

This could be the cause of a lot of the CTR drops. Ads on your visitor side could be totally off topic.

They might even be Ads advertiser are using solely for Branding show to your visitor and getting free branding, while not earning you a click.

Yes ..all those things can happen ..and probably are happening ..especially if you have image ads running..I'm still seeing image ads on adsense sites for a piece of photo software that I actually bought months ago ..and I sure don't need to buy it twice!
