Google adsense problem (xoops)

I have a site, running on xoops 2.3.3. I have registered, and placed the google adsense script in the site. Unfortunately the main page has empty ads. However on the other pages (the forums, private messages, everywhere) it works fine... except for the main page. Does anyone have an idea about the cause?

When you say 'main page', I'm presumming you mean the homepage?

Does your homepage have much text content? Is it relevant to something companies would be advertising?

Also, keep in mind it may take Adsense a few days/weeks to crawl your site and find relevant adverts.

Plain text only, nothing fancy. Simple xoops site.The adverisement appears it's on the right side - except for the main page (domain.com/index.php)
Google has already scanned my website. The banner can be seen everywhere, it's just empty on the main page.

No ads only on your homepage. Just check your code and paste it as it is. I came across a similar problem, the line breaks were removed (the js code is still functional but it won't run). Just like if G checks for changes on the code including line breakes and refuses to run if it finds something different. That was my case, hope it helps. Good luck.

Ads are working fine on your site, even on the homepage.

As the language of your site is not English, I suspect there's simply not enough relevant ads for your country vs your site topic.
