In one of my websites, i recently put a graphical Leaderboard (728 x 90 - a long banner) on the dysfunctional main page where only 1% people go to my site through this page.

Having said that, the click-through rate for this graphic banner is 3.62%, resulting in 15% more revenue.

Comparing to other text ads that yield only 0.24% CTR, the graphic banner seems to be great, despite disturbing.

Do you also have similar experience with graphic ads? I'm thinking if I should put it on every content page - just not sure if my users like it or not.

I found that 300X250 text perform the best.

It also depends on the location in which you places it. it's it around the folder before content?

My linkunits and skyscraper used to perform good, but nowadays its the leaderboard and the 300x250 for me.

For me, fullbanner(468x60) works best.
I have tried leaderboard, skycraper and 300x250 at every placement on my pages, but earned less than fullbanner.
It is weird, but true:-))

Large Rectangle (336x280) After the first paragraph of text and another one after the 7th paragraph of text.
