Adsense Account Deactivation Syndrome (AADS)

Do you live in fear of your adsense account being disable at any giving time from any giving reason?

Do you fear New traffic or unexpected increase in traffic? Instead of being happy of your sites growth, you worry about how Google will feel about it.

Do you fear Traffic sources you can't even control "links from other sites, tool bars etc"?

Do you fear a competitor clicking on you ads to get you adsense account blocked, even when you really have a competitor ?

Do you constantly search online and read bad luck stories of others who account have been deactivated?

Do you not speak badly about Google in fear they will track you and deactivate you account?

Do you at any mention of an Adsense tip, trick, best practice immediately judge it as an Adsense TOS.

Do you neglect other ways of montizing your site solely because they MIGHT violate google TOS and you want to play it safe "even when they are allowed".

Do you constantly warn people of Their account getting banned?

Do you send email to Google asking permission to do the most basic changes to your own site?

Do you not use the block filter and allow unrelated advertising on your site, because you scared of pissing google off?

Do you allow Google to #*$! your traffic with Chrome, Adwords, Smartphone and other unrelated low paying ads because your's scared of Blocking Google.com in you bock filter.

Do you send apology letter any time you make an accidental click on your own ad, and pray for forgiveness.

Do you allow low paying advertiser blanket your site with ads and reduce you earning with out questioning how much they are paying to command control of you ad zone.

Do you Private message ASA with question which are common sense?

Do you allow interest base ad because you scrared of Adsense not serving any ads to your site?

Do Listen to any Google recommendation without testing for you own site, visitor and layout?

Do you not advertise your site on site/networks that cater to your demographic because you scared Google will think you doing Adsense Arbitrage "even when Adsense Arbitrage it's not your goal"

Do you read the TOS monthly and make religious Interpretation of what they mean and follow those Interpretation like a religious law.

At any failed login attempt to Adsense you to go and check every one of your email accounts "heart pounding" scared that you might have received a deactivation email?

Do you fear deactivation of you account even when you know for a fact you aren't doing anything Black Hat, Blue Hat, illegal or immoral?

No. Because I have no control over such matters. Google etc know that.

I have had the odd burst like that, but Google seem to know as they seem to give the click value as one click. (One channel had 48 clicks within the 1st hour).

No need to. There are plenty of stories here.

That question makes no sense. Do you mean "against the Adsense TOS"?

No. But I only use Adesene because it is the best.

Yes. because many of those that break it MAY not be aware of the TOS. Just like the ones that sign up at WebmasterWorld and break the TOS by posting URL's or emails from elsewhere.

I have done, but all I get is to go to the forums, where all the "i've been banned" brigade hang out.

No. In fact I have blocked Google adverts from my site. They are not related to my site.

I have clicked on one of my adverts in the past because of screen lag. I reported it straight away to Google. I gave them the page I was on, and the landing page, and apologized. I heard nothing back.

Yes, I know they say you don't have to tell them. But I am me.

As I have no idea on which adverts pay more of less, I cannot answer that question. If there is an advert I do not like, or blanketing my site (if not related) then I will block them.

Yes, but my heart wasn't pounding. Just checking to see if it is a Google problem or mine.

Cmidd calm down, Google is very friendly and very kind. If you are polite & understanding. You can get back your account even if you are banned for worst mistake.

Biggest misconception is i have heard is Google is cruel.

you are putting wrong fear in people's mind and ruining their earnings just because after listening you, They want to diversify and leave the best paying network.

See my previous posts how i have criticized Google, They have done no harm to me in anyway. I have no fear from Google, i see Google as friend not as foe or boss.

Yes I am actually very worried. The only thing I get worried about is other people click bombing my site and the lack of knowledge around it.

Why can't google help us prevent click bombing.

Do they warn you about click bombing?

People say to use GA or Stats counter to monitor traffic. Well so far today I have 40 clicks and only 12 of them are showing up on GA. 16 of them are showing up on StatCounter. Thats not a lot of help.

Everything with my sites are within in TOS.

90% of my traffic is Google/Bing/Yahoo and I only show ads to SE visitors to prevent someone seeing my ads that are not interested. I also only show ads on post because 90% of people from SE land on a post and the information is a lot tighter whereas my homepage has a variety of info.

I LOVE Google Adsense and would love to make this my full time business but you always read those post (most of which did something wrong) where it seems someone lost their account when they didn't do anything wrong.

What constitutes a click bomb? 10 clicks? 20 or 100?

I don't even bother to notify Google about it now since the last time it happened to me over a couple of weeks period, probably 2-3 years ago, with about 10 domains some getting as many as 500+ clicks a day, Google were already on to it and had discounted them.

The only thing they didn't do was to actually remove them from my metrics therefore my CTR looked fantastic and my EPC horrendous!

A ban is extremely rare for anyone with a TOS compliant and user-useful site.
