How many people perform Adsense Audit of their site.
Here's is what I do once a month on my best performing sites.
Take some of my top performing pages.
During Off periods Put 3 160X600 ads below the fold "All text"
View the page:
1. From Private browsing
2. Yahoo as Refer
3. Google as the Refer
4. Bing as the refer
5. Browsers (IE. chrome, Firefow)
I land on the pages, and scroll through all the ads to see what's being offered.
Using this I'm able to:
1.Determine what sites to block "irrelevant ads"
2.Get an idea of who's dominating my sites ads
2.1 find ads that don't call to action to block "branding"
3.Help brain storm content to write about
4.Help finding affiliate offers to test
5.Generate a list of possible advertiser to reach out to for direct ad sells.
I also use Adsense Sand Box [
labnol.org...] .
I only do this for high earning sites. I also disable Interest Base ads.
