AdSense and YouTube Problem

I have one AdSense account and another YouTube account I want to merge

I have been with Google AdSense, or GAS as I like to call it, since the beginning. As it is a revenue source I used my personal company email to register.

Then, when we started doing videos I decided that one of my staff should run the uploads, manage the comments etc so we registered via YouTube (but I later discovered ultimately through Google) with that person's company email address.

Now the videos are doing well, I would like to try and monetize them. I do not want my staff to see the inside workings of AdSense so do not mind taking over the pretty simple YouTube responsibilities, but Google seems to think we have two accounts (two different emails were used to join, although both are on the same domain).

I do not want two accounts, I just want my YouTube account to be associated with my GAS account so I might be able to earn from the videos.

Seems like a catch 22. Has anyone experienced this and what solution is there?

I wonder whether ASA may have any constructive advice please?

You don't need to have the same email on the accounts to use AdSense on YouTube.

You can apply for the full YouTube partner program. Once accepted, you can link any AdSense account by publisher ID. We don't require you to have the same login, so the employee doing the YouTube account can keep doing that without getting access to all the AS data.

Thanks ASA. Unfortunately when I follow that link i get redirected to youtube.com/index

I am at a complete loss how I can apply to add my AdSense account to the YouTube account.
