Skyrocketing Page Views, Dropping CTR

About 5 days ago I found a bit of a glitch with my site and Google. The search engine has been sending visitors directly to a flash applet instead of to the page containing the applet. Fixing this (with a redirect) has seen my page views skyrocket to about 15 times previous views for that page. However the CTR has steadily declined to 1/10th of previous (no change in CPC). This has me thinking that Adsense is unable to keep up with this jump and dish out ads worth anything (we are talking about pretty massive Page View numbers). Perhaps this massive jump has make Adsense suspicious of some sort of click fraud and maybe they are either not showing ads or are holding back some of my click. Currently if trends continue my profits will be back to prejump levels. 15x the page views and 0 profit from it :( Anyone see a similar situation? Can anything be done to fix it? This is massive profits being thrown out the window, retirement fund profits, all lost because of some odd glitch.

Umm. Maybe it's just that people who are coming to a page for an app are just coming to a page for an app, and not looking to click on ads. I wouldn't be betting my retirement fund on AdSense.

If you did not do that before use image and text ads for your ad locations at this spot.
If you don't get much clicks CPM Ads might be the way for more earnings.

And wait a few more days before you jump to conclusions ;)

I don't think that my visitors are just coming for the app. The earnings the first day of the correction shot up, suggesting that the new visitors were clicking. The second day they were a bit lower but still high. The clicks have made a steady decline, suggesting to me some other powers at work. It could be the infamous and oft pondered glass ceiling... oh and when talking about earnings as high as I should be seeing retirement fund is not unthinkable. CPM is beginning to make sense, would at least triple my earnings though Adsense had previously outperformed them considerably.
