Lets say that I earn £1000 each month. Why is the Adsense interface showing double in my estimated earnings 'every' single month?

Is there a problem with Adsense's estimation algorithm or is it something else? Obviously if it's something I'm doing wrong then fixing it and earning double would be a bonus ;)

Where do I start trying to figure this out? Is it my layout? Adsense? Traffic quality? I can't see anything in the interface to help me rectify the problem.

Anyone/Asa?

Can you tell us exactly where you see it 'double'?

On the new Adsense interface's homepage within the top 'Earnings estimates' box (Estimated unpaid earnings = £2000 for example).

If I then look at this month's "Performance summary" it states my estimated earnings are £1000 (example) which is almost exactly what I get paid each month.

They're both estimated earnings, but completely different.

Karma, these are the 'unpaid' earnings. This means that it includes last months earnings as well which are also unpaid. It will decrease after payout, which should happen one of these days.
