Husky, the "on" switch or the "off" one for you? What happened a year ago? Valentine's preparation season? :-)

I think Husky came back from the pub, wrote this post and crashed on the sofa. We'll know more tomorrow ;)

Well it was a completely rubbish day yesterday. The rest of the month had been improving but the earnings and CTR went through the floor as if those people in Adsense had kicked a switch. It was, I think, Martin Luther King day (a public holiday) in the US yesterday so perhaps the people in Adsense assumed that everywhere else in the world had a holiday too?

Just looked at the stats again and it really looks like they screwed up something. One of the busiest days of the month on one of the sites and the CTR was well below normal.

Gladly, stats picked up and so is the traffic. I think I'd better not play with the placement for a while and leave it as is.

My goal is to increase the traffic by writing good content everyday, I would be more than happy to leave the adsense untouched. I don't see how increasing traffic wouldn't help me make more money. Also, with the earnings reaching the pinnacle, I am quite sure Jan (good earnings since last 2 days) will not be a 'sad' month anymore.

Spot on but actually made it to bed:-)

For me the highest Page Impression day of the year, the highest click day of the year, normal CTR plus a 20% increase in EPC...in other words I had what used to be a steady weekend, no where near what I would describe as a normal weekday running up to Thanksgiving but, for the moment, heading in the right direction...hopefully.
