Unaccounted for Adsense Income

So the total of my url channels is less than the total for the month. Obviously, my adsense is displaying somewhere that is unaccounted for. Any way to find out where the extra income is coming from?

You can look at Allowed Sites [google.com] and see if some other site is using your code. (Note: it's an http page, but WW doesn't allow https in links. You should be redirected automatically once you hit Google's site. If not, change the http: to https:)

Are you absolutely sure you're not showing AdSense on some page for which you haven't created a channel?

I don't want to disallow. I just want to know what it is. Any way to find out?

Do you have AdSense on more than one domain?

Yes, many over the years. Approximately 50.

I think Adsense Search is only shown in custom channels.

enter pub-************** (using your id number) into a SE that indexes google id's. (like google or spyonweb), and see what turns up.

As somebody said, look in the Allowed Sites page. Not in the allowed sites textbox. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and probably the sites are displayed there. Also by not using the "Allowed Sites" feature, you run the risk of your account being banned at some point for some scraper's violation of the Adsense TOS like p.o.r.n sites, non original content, etc.

maybe this is a good use for blekko, that we're all moaning about on another thread (including me!). they have a little link underneath the title which shows all the sites using the same publisher id.

If you have Google Analytics linked up to AdSense, you may be able to find it there if the earnings came from clicks on pages like Google cache (webcache.googleusercontent.com) and translated pages (translate.googleusercontent.com).

[Edited to add this step] Choose the domain you're tracking.
Choose the date you're interested in.
Go to Content.
Go to Adsense (which becomes visible after you click Content.)
Look at Top Content and click Full Report.
Browse the content that got clicks and you may find some Google cache pages, translated pages, etc. that earned AdSense money.

I am hoping it might be from translated or cached pages. The allowed sites page is not giving me anything. When I have more time I could go through and list all my domains there, but there is not additional information that I am finding. Blekko does not have all my sites, so clearly a limited data set.

I see those from time to time. I've given up looking for where they're coming from.

dvduval back in June we had a 100% click and revenue dump on the last day of the month. This dump doubled our average monthly revenue and clicks. I have tried to figure it out but will never figure it out. I sent support an email on it and never heard anything from them either. You can spend time looking like I did and come up empty or say thank ya and move on.

Yea, I hear you. I didn't spend too much time on this. I was just seeing if there was a way to find clicks outside of the url channels and it seems there is not really.

On more than one occasion, I've taken a swing at trying to identify the source of unaccounted for clicks without success. Just let it go.
