One of my websites run by my friend got banned by google after being a member for a month. I am sure my mate broke the rules somehow but its disclosed here.

How long does it take to be accepted in the google adsense and will they accept the same name, address, domain?

My mate just applied and got rejected

They won't accept the same domain name. Person, person's address etc. One of my clients purchased a website which had previously been banned and he was rejected for adsense and that was the EXACT reason given-no wooly "lawyer speak", even although he wasn't involved in the original site in ANY way.

If your personal name is blocked, register a corporation and then set up an account through the corporation.

There are many people with same names. I was wondering what happens in such situation?

I can only speak from personal experinece but what happened with me was I got banned, my brother who shares the same address got banned also. He had a completely different site, different topic, hugely different stats etc.

So the moral of this tale APPEARS to be that G will ban you if :

1/the domain is the same (documented)
2/You are related to anyone who is kicked out(documented)
3/you reapply with the same name or address. (an assumption)

A same payee name must be banned.

I suggest to change a payee to your mother or father's name. And modify your mailing address by changing some words or format.

Example : P.O. Box 1234, Avenue Pull Post Office.

Change to : POBOX 12-34, Ave Pull Post-Office.

Good Luck!

Google sounds rather strict. I will advice my mate to register with different details or combination.

Right now I put a channel up for him and he's using it succesfuly on his site. Will that affect me?

Possible ban?

tnx

Uh-hoh. You're doing a very risky thing, mate. If G finds out -- and they might -- YOU could be banned as well. Putting your code on a banned website is frowned upon in Googleplex. I suggest you remove your codes ASAP unless you want to share the misery of your friend.

I am going to take a wild guess here and say yes!

Actually, the answer is more than likely it will, as nothing is certain.

The real question is why risk it?

But surely if his domain is banned, then your code will not produce any ads? I thought it was the domain that was banned, not just the specific adsense code?

Wonderboy: I thought the same thing, but he said:

So I am confused. Either it slipped through the cracks or Google is going to catch up just before the check needs to be mailed as I suspect their run fraudbot right before payment.
