8:50 am. Super great day today already. It's like pulling teeth or boring but I've found that the more I listen to Google, read their help pages, watch and "understand" their youtube Adsense tutorials, and implement their suggestions on my site, the more money I make with Adsense. I had been messing around with my adsense account's default settings looking for answers (you know, third party advertisers, interest based ads on/off, text or txt & Img on/off, etc.), looking to increase my revenue and the problem has been me all along (wrong ad format, ad location, text only ads, ad choice of color, section targeting, traffic, placement targeting, etc.)
Some people think they know all about Adsense but they sure don't. There is a ton of misinformation out there, especiall when it comes to "interest based ads" and "placement targeting". It pays to learn, from the source itself, to the T (all the tricks) how Google Adsense works, the ad auction, placement targeting, adsense section targeting (including "ignore", knowing when to use it to influence the ad auction, etc.), Adwords (thanks netmeg for your posts and experience), etc. It pays to trust Google on their adsense advice even though most of us think Google doesn't have our best interest at heart. The more money we make, the more money they do as well. December has been a killing month for me so far. I hope you guys' earnings get back on track.
