If there are anybody whose revenue is still good, can they give suggestions?
My website is about health and does not contain lots of sections. it is targeted website.
I am not sure on these settings:
1- Interest-based Ads Preference ( adsense account tab )
2- Third Party Ads Preference ( adsense account tab )
3- Allow and Block Google Certified Ad Networks ( Ad Review Center )

thanks for any help or suggestions

Hi,
I split this off from where you posted it because it's a different discussion. Always best to create a new discussion than bury it in a different topic where no one will see it. ;)

The official opinion is to allow everything to show. The idea is that the more kinds of ads you show the more competition to raise the cost per click.

That's the idea. In practice many webmasters find that some kinds of ads are not optimal for their sites or their specific locations.

Anyone care to share their experience tweaking the settings?

For me....

More ad blocks strategically placed are better than one ad block per page.
Text ads only are better (image ads mixed with text ads increases epc but decreases ctr so it is a wash, and I don't like image ads on the site anyway)
Interest based ads preference turned off
Third party ads turned off
Certified ad networks turned off

For me, well placed text ads based on the site's content work best. Simple and straightforward (after a lot of testing). I know others have other ideas, and what works for one does not always work for someone else.

Thanks for reply

When do these settings become effective, after they are set?
(Interest based ads, Third party ads and Certified ad networks)
