I got the link to the new interface today, but after 10 minutes went back to the old interface. No saved reports (all I had were all gone) and no quick overview what happened today, which I find very important.
Gotta say: it looks very nice but misses the overall simplicity of the old one. It just has to start, after login, with a overview of today without me clicking like crazy to get any info.
I'm not interested in seeing every time I log in, as the most prominent thing, what my unpaid earnings are and how much i earned last month.
I prefer the old style darker blue as it's easier to read. Also - on my wide screen, the reports are stretched too wide accross the screen. On my laptop however (1028 wide)the whole screen on the reports doesn't fit and i have to keep scrolling back and forth sideways.
I got the link yesterday. It's ok, the graphs are helpful but the interface needs work (sorry G). First try most of the functions were not working, later still few functions didn't work. Later on the system functioned enough to try it. Too much ajax... Is it me or this new thing is... slow?
Strange, some options on the old interface were blocked, I've seen some other users reporting this too but finally I have them enabled.
After spending some 30 mins on new user interface, the most helpful thing I found on the new interface is 'Return to old AdSense interface'. I dread the day when they pull the plugs on legendary interface.
There's some aspects of it I like, but mostly I use the old one. I wish they'd come up with one that I could access with a Blackberry browser though.
What *really* ticks me off is that Analytics has a compare function to compare two date ranges, and now the new AdSense panel has it too, but IT'S STILL NOT AVAILABLE IN ADWORDS. And that's where I need it most. What's THAT about?
Well, I gave it some time this morning - its a lot slower than the old interface, thats for sure. And the final straw that drove me back to the old interface? Crashing my browser a lot. Too much js in these pretty screens Google does these days - slows the whole thing down. Just give me the numbers, dammit!
