I buy news from various sources and place them in a website. The news contains words like "naked", "nude", "sex", "b**bs" and others. I am not sure if I can display Google Adsense ads on these pages.

The content is provided by reputed third party news agencies. Is it okay to have adsense on those pages? I don't display any pictures though. And the percentage of those pages is less than 5% in my site.

Is there a list of banned words. I am not sure if "naked" is banned. And also "gay" or "sex".

Nope, no Google-published list of stop words. Your best bet is to find some other form of monetization.

Then how would I know what keywords to block?

Unfortunately you're in Google cyberspace territory without any guidance system whatsoever!

I see health sites every day running AdSense using all the so-called banned words, how do they manage not to be evicted?

Then again I just wonder:

Why can Google not approve or disapprove specific articles if "they" deem them to be so controversial etc?

It seems absolutely barmy to me that people espouse freedom of speech meanwhile Google is apparently scared stiff of...errr...what exactly?

One thing you're not going to get from this behemoth and that is clarification!

i don't think it can be a problem.
Google also knows that you are a credible source of information and the words in the news stories appear from the news agencies as well. Even Reuters, AFP or Press Association will have such words in their stories.

Infact, many a times, i have seen that Google Simply doesn't show ads on such pages.
