I dunno, I'm pretty much where I expected to be today; maybe a little better even.

We are seeing a -40% difference between Adsense impressions being reported when compared to Doubleclick impression. Seems Adsense is behind.

Wasn't last Tuesday/Wednesday the roll-out of that horrible Google Instant? Yeah, last Wednesday was well off however it came back ok from Thursday onwards.

Today looks fine from here...I have no idea if it's the very heavy rain in the UK causing this but it's very conincidental!

I'm at or above normal for the day.

I'm at or above normal for the day.

And that's just it. For everyone who's having a bad day, someone else is having a good day. It's Yin and Yang. It's balance.

I hadn't even checked my stats when I posted. I have no idea what's even happening today. I haven't even logged in for 3 days because I've been fishing.

If you're not prepared to strap in for a roller coaster ride - adsense probably isn't for you.

If you're one of those whiney ones who bitch about losing a dollar in the jukebox - adsense probably isn't for you.

If you're a stats monkey and think day to day variables matter - adsense probably isn't for you.

I said "welcome to my world" because the guy seemed to be in pain and I was trying to reach out and offer condolences to my fellow man.

My world is actually fine. Better than fine since I got the IRS up off my friggin back.

What's in your wallet?

Sorry to hear that, welcome to my neighborhood. It is possible they "test"... "something" on Wednesday days as it is a more "stable" day, not the beginning, and not the end of the week?

It's possible.

It's possible they offer up pagan sacrifices on Wednesdays as well. I'm as likely to believe that as anything else.

We don't know squat so to sit here and speculate amounts to squat as well.

Y'all know what squat means, right?

Have you seen your stats? I'm finally home checking and I find the same. A disaster today. I checked my stats on one of my best performing sites and it shows HALF TRAFFIC since saturday. Nothin has changed here, everything as it used to but this is having an ugly effect on my adsense numbers too.

So far, Wednesday looks quite normal to me (pageview and revenue).

The only thing different for the past 12 hours is all pages I visited couldn't display adsense ads (http time out), and cause a very slow display for the pages. Maybe it's my local/region problem.

Hamsters.

And publishers who complain too much.

Might be niche or location related. Yesterday was the best day in weeks for me. Looking over my reports I can which niches are responsible.

Sgt_Kickaxe

Probably niche related, my guide site which is full of in depth how to articles written by me while doing the actual thing I'm writing about is doing extremely well. A friends thin sites, not so good. My longtail is up, his is down, and our earnings reflect that.

Looks like I no longer have to log in each time during the same session to see how bad I'm doing, that's some kind of consolation.

Traffic from Google has been way way down since yesterday, so has the earnings. Weird, referrals from Bing and search.aol.com are way up and have been responsible for the miserable earnings today.

Don't know about you guys but just had a Thursday disaster. Lowest CTR of the year. I hate logging in each morning, just keeps getting worse and worse.

These short term fluctuations are fairly common. It's the end of a fiscal quarter or year for many companies. To make their budgets, companies will always cut back near the end of a quarter.

If you're still hurting by the end of October, then you MIGHT be seeing a trend.

I just also noticed that the dollar has being crashing against my currency in the last few days. This would partially explain a drop in earnings.

For me, it's Thursday (adsense time) traffic that down a lot. For revenue..., nothing to complain about.

Terrible week not only on adsense numbers, traffic is half of what is used to be.

Great day for me (30th)

Weird, same here. September was kinda low, this week: terrible, but the last day of the month 30th was great.

3rd time in a row, Wednesday starts very weak,
about 60% what I would expect at this time of the day.
