Oh dear! Hopefully there is some hope for us in the States who get it via EFT that it will show up later today!

Usually when the first person posts it's something like 8am or something and since you're posting during the afternoon (my time-EST) I am surely keeping my fingers crossed!

Oh to know how Adsense processes their payments! They have said that they don't process check orders first but it doesn't seem to look that way does it?

No idea other than I've been in Adsense from the very start and I wonder if my name is near the top of their processing list...is it the same with you ken_b?

It's really hard for me to say. I didn't actually join Adsense until November 2006. So I really don't know where on the "list" I am! Usually when people from the states who get theirs by EFT start posting I know that mine is not too far away.

I may get "obsessive" and look at the past PIP threads. But I do remember from reading from another blog about how in the past when people have started posting that they have received their PIP's in the state and by check it may take a day later for mine to appear. Unfortunately this is a Friday and if I don't see it soon then that means that I will have to get through the weekend without it! So I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Another kind of "rumor" thing going around is that Adsense will wait late in the day when it's a Friday - so maybe that is why the first posting is coming so late in the day.

For all I know my PIP was posted at 3:00AM, I didn't check my stats today until just before I posted the PIP thread.

is it the same with you ken_b
No idea. I joined in late 2003. I have always seemed to be early in the PIP sequence, but don't have a clue why.

I always get PIP on the 25th of each month. Every month.

I'm seeing some clues here. If Ken-b joined in 2003 that could help towards figuring out our own PIP's. IE if I joined in 2006 that is one indication that my PIP would show after Kenb. and since he joined so early then it really doesn't matter if he gets paid via check because he joined way back in 2003 so he would get his PIP early regardless of his payment option. I'm going to look at some of the older posts relating to the PIP.........

Obviously that is wrong :)
I only joined in June of 2008 and I think I see these PIP's before than most of you (mostly on 23 or 24th). I was too busy yesterday, else I would have started this PIP thread :p
My theory is that the system starts from the east and goes to the west, from Australia to the States (I'm in Taiwan and check is my payment option). And then there's that thing of Check and EFT. There's no proof but Standard check's are processed first, then Secured checks via DHL and then WU/ EFT.

Well I'm not surprised that I still haven't gotten the "theory" right behind how adsense processes their payments. So far what I have learned is that PIP's don't show on the weekend. Someone posted a while back that it's unusual to see a PIP on a Monday but that has happened recently during a past month(s).

All in all I was just hoping for it to show on Friday - REALLY wanted it to show on Thursday - the sooner I get it the sooner "it" gets spent! - LOL!

This is going to be a looooooonnnnng weekend!

No PIP on my account in the UK.

But I have just seen when looking at the "last 3 months" earnings report the figures are showing a balance that is roughly £700 above what it should be. When I look at the "last 12 months" earnings report it's all correct. Weird.

That's a known bug; been there a while. Can't imagine why they can't fix it.

A BUG? OOOOOPS. I studied the two reports and believed the one with the higher income amount. Just blew that £700 on a new gizmo toy.

I'll just sue Google if the lower figure turns out to be correct.

Google are getting close to breeching their agreement. I am sure PIP will appear within the next 24 hours but if it doesn't then it is unlikely to reach our bank accounts by the 5th.

Given that the subject is (ho-hum) payment confirmation, the entertainment value of this thread is getting pretty high, between the acronym bandying, the suspenseful plot (WILL the £700 gizmo need to be returned?), all the minor denouements, and in the background, WordsinCollision's cheerleaderish PIP PIP Hooray!

Now to add an aura of mystery to the story...

Payment issued, Check, Taiwan :)
The check issuing hamsters are on their flight and will reach the west coast of US via Singapore, India, Middle East, EU, US East Coast by tomorrow :p
BTW, does any one see that the payment history page now shows all the months by default instead of only the last 3 payments?
