Hi Webmasters, the usual cheque used to take 15-20 days to arrive here in Central America. Last cheque (received) took longer, a whole month and it was not delivered under the door as usual. This last time Google sent the cheque asking for a signature to increase safety (not my signature, but any as "received"). This kind of measures allows to trace the mail, I guess it has to do with the complains from webmasters not receiving their cheques at all, or "hacked" accounts (there was a thread here).

Anyway the payment from June 23 arrived at the end of July... But the payment from 26 jul and 24 ago are nowhere to be found. I already asked the mailman, the one in charge of my area and he says there is nothing yet and he will bring it as soon as he gets it. I changed my account to hold the payments. I think I'll try Western Union - Quick Cash. Electronic transfers are not available to Central America.

The question is: anybody from Central America having this kind of delay? The constant rain is affecting I guess but this is too much.

Thanks

PS. Posted here as is Adsense related, also we had a few threads here about delayed payments (electronic).

I would email google if its that late. I am from the U.S. though.

I once had a lost check in the mail, I emailed them, they stopped the check and it was a next day response.

Problem was they just add the earnings till next month. So you will have to wait.

Thanks, a payment came today but there is one missing, I'm reading Adsense help to find out where to report this. Could you please tell me to what email did you write to report your lost check?

PM sent with the question

I'm in the UK and my cheque usually comes from Sweden and usually arrives in the first few days of the month however this month's has still not appeared yet. This is not the first time this has happened therefore I'll wait another week before doing anything.

I never had this kind of problems until this lasts months. This is the first missing cheque, then I have another one that came with special delivery from the post office asking for my signature (certificate mail).

I read about missing cheques and most people say Google waits for it to expire before doing anything, I'm curious about what procedure snickels followed to get his missing cheque.

I currently have my payments on hold and I'm thinking about trying Western Union payments. Electronic transfer is not available for Central America.... I'm also thinking on getting a bank account out of the country.

Thanks snickles for the link:

How do I request a reissue of a check?
[google.com...]

Posted here as reference, it will be useful for others with the same problem.
