Does adding more adsense ads to a page affect it's search ranking?

An adsense rep wants me to add more and bigger ads to my pages, I guess it won't hurt to try it...

The only thing I'm worried about is search engine ranking, will adding more ads change anything?

I don't know how delicate my pages are and I just started doing a little better! Kind of afraid to change anything.

Adverts has nothing to do with SERPS.

However, too many adverts could piss off your visitors.

Has anyone ever received an "optimization" tip from AdSense that didn't include putting more ads on your page(s)?

Yes, they have contacted me several times over the years by phone and by email.

They have given a few tips other than adding more ads, like moving things around, but yeah it's mostly more and bigger ads.

So nothing to do with serps you think?

I had no change in serps when I added a 3 ad to my pages. So I would say no.

I would say maybe. If your ads eclipse your content and your visitors bounce quickly, there may be a consequence in SERPS in my opinion.

Again, just my opinion. I've never read or experienced this.
