After now playing with Adsense for the last 5 months, im starting to realise its potential, and how i can steal a heck of alot of traffic from directories/large websites for high traffic phrases by offering content specific pages/sites for a whole host of terms.

My dilemma is that having say X.+ websites all taking in adsense capital too one cheque account - could bite me on the ass one day. I've been paranoid of all egg's in one basket for years, and consequently have made sure any major projects are completly seperate - country of host/etc.

Hence i'm asking whether Adsense is worth opening up my network of website's and there traffic to earn referrals or just leave the branded, and just continue with whats happening and raiding various industry sites and creating alternate rich content sites?

the way to go is to add adsense to industry sites (I assume these are ecommerce sites) as an additonal potential useful resource for the user - please don't start creating new+useless "adsense content sites", there are already too many out there and hopefully it's only a question of time until G weeds them out of the SERPs

I think there is a difference between a content rich site that focuses on an industry in which there is a high advertising spend and a made for AdSense site.

We build sites every month that are in a way made for AdSense but they have solid, in-depth original content and happen to use AdSense for advertising. I think original in-depth content is the key. When people on WebmasterWorld refer to "made for AdSense" sites, they are often referring to sites that have scraped content from other sites and are simply built to go after expensive keywords. If you are building sites with your own content, spin off a new network and go for it.
