Hi guys, I apologize if this is posted in the wrong area but I am having trouble getting more than 5 click a day on my site.

I know, pathetic right?

My site is a Pro Tools Tutorial website (www.protoolsguides.com) and is looking good, has a ton of helpful tutorials and tips. Lots of content and lots more to come.

I have read up a heck of a lot on Google Adsense and have placed my ads in good places but still no clicks.

Can someone help me out and visit my site so they can see what mistakes I am making?

I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Kevin

First place, you should probably read up on the terms of WebmasterWorld; we don't allow links or specific urls.

And you need to read up on the AdSense terms and conditions, because your ads are in clear violation, and it could get you kicked out. (Hint - you can't use text like "Deals of the Day" above them - only "Sponsored Links" or "Advertising")

The first thing I would suggest you do is take off the ads until you've read through this forum pretty thoroughly. Particularly the post that is pinned to the top.

What it all boils down to is that you need to have a lot of traffic. You need to have the right traffic. You need to be catching people and presenting your ads when your users are in a buying cycle. If the counter on the bottom of your site is any indication, you are doing amazingly well if you are actually getting 5 clicks a day on that kind of traffic.

You need to read up on the heat map - your ads are well below the fold on my 22" monitor. Assuming you get traffic, then you have to wonder how many people are going to even see the ads.

That should be enough to get you started. First take the ads off until you are in compliance. Then read up on the Terms, and the heat map.

^^^ Ditto ^^^

Welcome to WebmasterWorld anemicrock

And for a site first registered on 7th July 2010 you're expecting way too much from the organic SERPs and two freebies from me, ALL your titlebars and descriptions need sorting.

Thanks for the advise. I don't find your post to be harsh so thank you for the tips.

I'll get right on it.

Oh and I apologize for the link. The only reason I put "Deals of the Day" was because I read it was okay to do in the Adsense Secrets book by Joel Comm.
