Data Loss Day Weds 14th July?

I knew something was going wrong yesterday and I ended up with one site down 50% across the board apart from Page Impressions which were normal.

In fact I'm being kind, eCPM was 43.5% of average so just where does this data loss go?

Google's Zurich account or do advertisers not get charged and they have a free day on me?

i don't normally do these kind of threads, but i happened to notice a drop too. it had a similar drop last wednesday, and also the wednesday before (but that was the first). every other day of the week has been within my normal range. i'm not talking about a little fluctuation here, which is par for the course, i'm talking about a day that is so far out that it is silly.

but of course, they may have just returned the clicks over the course of the next few days. so you can never tell. i have decided that its a waste of time speculating with adsense because you're never going to get anywhere with it. you just have to shrug your shoulders and get on with it.

Well I've found where my data loss was for that one site:

AdLinks - Normal
728 x 90 - Clicks 50%, CTR 38%, eCPM 38%, Earnings 47%
336 x 280 - Clicks 33%, CTR 28%, eCPM 20%, Earnings 23%

Many times I see very weird stats in Adsense. One of the channels (URL Channels I use URL channels only) which dont report any substantial income every day, suddenly reports half of the income for that day.
Next day some other channel report that way.
This is going on for few months now. But my overall earning is not changed much. In fact Increased a bit so I am not worried at this point of time.
May be the URL Channel reporting is having some problems in my case.

Not true. I'm going to make some experiments next time I suspect data loss. I remove ads from a page (channel) once I see slow stats/lack of reports - and wait a week or so. If clicks/impressions/etc. on these subsequent days don't show up in the channel's reports I can tell that Gorg had problems.

Well, Wednesday and Thursday were the best days in months ever. Wednesday didn't get a click for half a day, then they came rushing later in the day as if they had a problem with Adsense tracking. Thursday was a better day than Wednesday.
