Another Data Loss Day Wednesday 16th June?

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are traditionally my best earning days of the week however yesterday was trully diabolical being down across all metrics by almost 40%...that's not an acceptable fluctuation by anyone's standards.

I find it quite coincidental that at the same time as a bad earnings' day that many in the Search forum noticed a massive drop in Gbot activity.

Supposedly they're not connected however has G had some kind of outtage resulting in AdSense data loss?

Sounds like you need to make a change

What are you going to do?

The bizarre thing is that this happens two or at the most three times a month and it's really annoying on a traditionally busy today and it continues throughout the entire day, it's that obvious.

I can have several days of good consistent earnings then it's almost as though someone throws a switch/wobbly and everything goes down proportionately, not just CTR and obviously eCPM, but also EPC, and then usually the following day returns to "normal".

I've come to accept it as an AdSense foible however post it in case anyone else has seen similar and was wondering if it were just their site(s).

Yesterday I was down a fair bit. These days, I put it to 2 possible reasons :

1. They felt I earned too much the previous day and smartpricing kicked in (I had a really good day 15th)

2. Big clicks. I notice that the day after a "bad stats" day, the click dump shows many big clicks that probably needed to be verified.

For today, I haven't noticed any big clicks coming so I have half a mind to believe that Husky's theory might be correct.

Huge day yesterday. But this is my season.

I've seen the post about the spidering slowing down. I dunno, I just haven't seen that myself. I've been doing one or two posts a week on a blog and last week one of the posts was in, indexed and ranking in three minutes, and this week it got stretched out to twelve minutes.
