As always you will only get a definite answer on this one by asking Google directly.

In advance of nudity, sites of models are plenty of images but with very little text content. G wants AS ads on content sites (they are content driven ads!).
So, not only the models must be dressed: there must be more text than pictures in the pages.

I had a photo site with no text that was in google for 2 years they never said anything about that. Photos are also content.

There was some webmasters that received a letter from G requesting to delete AdSense ads from pages with only images.
Some time, but mybe your site is different, they judge title of the page to be too less content, as Mediabot cannot understand what kind of content a picture is (image is content? yes, but can Mediabot see that in a page there is a car, so it can serves car selling ads?).

If the image is titled <snip> and has an alt of " <snip>" then will Google not pick this up and give you ads on this?

The entire whats "allowed what..what isn't" actually seems to be totally arbtrary ..

I just spent 48 hrs looking for something in French language ( for a friend ) that would only be available from sites which normally would get the "host" a letter from the DMCA people asking to "pull the site" in the light of USA legal decisions about CSS ..

90% of "said" sites are running adsense ..en depit of this

Of the adsense itself being run ...again over 90% is for software that is "illegal" and the hosting of such sites and the linking to thereof is also "illegal" in the US ..isn't adsense "linking" ..

"Not now John ..gotta get on with these!"?

Does it matter if there isnt much text if you make use of your alt tags on the image?

I have a site with many image galleries and adsense is pretty good at targeting
