Hello,

From the last week of May, i have noticed significant reduction in Ctr and in cpm.
My traffic has slightly gone down but not that much which makes my revenue to drop down by 30%.

I am fail to understand the logics behind it, any one else is experiencing same?.
It has any thing to do with Mayday, or it is just a phase of low ctr and cpm which we usually encounter after every months.

looking for inputs.

Have you been able to figure out what is going on with it? How that can be fixed ?

Contemplation & Transcendental Meditation, I presume . . .

Tarot readings and, one of my all time favorites, analyzing chicken entrails.

Next month you'll be bragging about record highs.

April was one of my best months in years. Now I'm getting smoked - again. I've already tried to figure it out and I can't. Nor will I let it drive me crazy.

Take a deep breath....

I've noticed the same thing, and it may be partly due to the fact that quite a few economic indicators have taken a steep drop in recent weeks. When people spend less money, advertisers buy less advertising.

Ditto to all, except scottb. New record 6-year lows yesterday, in CTR and eCPM.

Scott, will you be saying the same thing when Google announces record quarterly earnings, once again?

Sally, I probably will, because Google will cut costs to make up for the drop in advertising -- probably but cutting our share. Also, it just ran a massive campaign in "our" inventory encouraging people to advertise on Google. I haven't seen that in a long time.

I work in media, my son works in retail, my wife at a hotel, etc. We're all seeing sudden drops in business. The economic reports coming out of Washington aren't so hot, either.
