Europe's bathing in the hottest day of the year...very low traffic for me so far today...lots of crispy people in the pubs tonight!

Very odd reporting here. Usually with this many impressions by this time of day I'd see a click count that went along with it. Not so today.

I looked on my stats from May 2009
The compareable Saturday before "Pfingsten" holiday had been even worse.

Schucks, May 22 wound up as just another low CTR day with below average earnings.

I am in Germany (Pfingsten, Champions League Finals, good weather), it was the worst day in this year!

Well I have absolutely no idea how it happened but I had a totally smack on average earnings' day!
Today's not looking good at the moment but what do I know?

For me it looks like they got stuck yesterday (23rd) and have not yet been unstuck. I have apparently had no Adsense impressions or clicks yet today and yesterday was at just 60% of the normal Adsense impressions.

Likewise cgiscripts4u. Something strange is going on.

Stats definitely stuck - I had 2 hours with no impressions (which doesn't agree with my activity logs and would be unheard of anyway) and now I have been blessed with one lonely cent of income. I am amused :) And its placement!

No click dump here E.S.T. Never experienced this. Normally do not check stats too often, but this is very, very strange.

Seeing some horrendous reports here. Impressions are almost correct but the earnings, eCPM and clicks are next to nothing. Extremely, extremely weird stats on 24th

Hello
here its 24, looks like stats are not moving today?

admittedly they are well behind, but they are moving...slowly.

They haven't moved. Seriously, my earnings have been cut by 30% and I am shocked!
Back to two digit figure. Please Adsense, can you provide us fair amount of earnings when all the other elements like traffic, unique content have been added each and every day :(
Seems like the more efforts you put in, the less you make from Adsense.

Give it time sid786, it is common nowadays for the stats to be slow/sluggish at the start of the day.

I do think they're stuck a bit. But there's another likely explanation. I write my pages for mostly a US market, and based on last year's stats, I'm expecting a downturn in revenue from yesterday-ish until June 7-ish.
Memorial Day weekend is next Monday in the States, and May through September is the most popular time for vacations.
As a former bored office worker, I can vouch for the fact that many people tag vacation days onto existing holidays to stretch out their allotted vacation time. There's a lot of competition for these vacation spots.
So some people are on vacation the previous weekend through Memorial Day, while others are on vacation throughout the week and weekend after Memorial Day.
I'd guess the same thing happens, to a lesser extent, around Monday/Friday Independence Day holidays and Labor Day. Though my stats are kinda wimpy and a lot of this is hypothesizing.

Well, maybe - unless your sites are actually seasonal and created around those holidays.
They're definitely lagging today; my server logs report three times the traffic AdSense has reported for today.
They'll catch up. They always do.

Hmmm...not too sure about that, whenever I have experienced an evidently lost data day I've never seen a subsquent big click dump. My Sunday metrics show a page impression loss day, earnings and clicks were about average yet PIs were down about 30% or so therefore my CTR and eCPM looks much better than normal.
Today's metrics are looking way, way behind for me with an extremely low EPC but that could be down to one person seemingly surfing my AdLinks and clicking everything they saw!
Maybe the hamster's American and on holiday?

@Lame_Wolf - You're right. But I moved to such swift conclusion as the day was over. The earnings were around 20-30% down for me. I couldn't do anything but just think if all my efforts and sleepless hours on making a better website was worth it or not. Oh, well, its making something right? So have to stop whining.
On the other hand, I disabled the internet based ads the previous day. I know, I know, those element doesn't influence the overall earnings (as some of the guys here said) but who knows eh? :) Maybe I shouldn't have done that.
Right now -- have enabled the internet based ads and the traffic has been consistent. Also looking at the Adsense fair 68% share, I've to say its a bold move. The transparency will retain the publishers :)
Now be good Adsense, and show us some love.
