Adsense for Gaming site

I have a gaming site with 3000 unique visitors each day and I'm using just one google adsense ad in the middle of the page.
I observe 14 clicks for 1000 impressions (1.40% CTR) and earn 0.46$. This is ridiculous, 3.3 cent per click.

I guess google adsense is not the best solution for my site.

What can I do to make more money with my site?
Is there a good alternative for gaming advertisement? Can somebody please recommend me some other Advertisement sites than google adsense?

Gaming sites have one of the lowest payouts. I can't recommend anything better than AdSense though because there isn't anything better. The good ad sites will not accept traffic that low, especially for a gaming site.

so changing to adbrite or valueclick won't help to increase the rate to ~9cent per click?

They'll be worse, but you don't have much to lose by seeing for yourself.
