Japanese message from Google (I am not Japanese)

Very odd occurrence

Just found a message from Google in my adsense account - in Japanese. I run English sites and have no connection to Japan. Translated it online and found it was about holding payments and why you might not get paid at the end of a month etc (I always get paid each month).

What could this be?! I suppose it must just be a mistake, but it's a bit of an odd one! Anyone else experience this?

It sort of sounds like a phishing message to me. Is there a link to click? Don't click on it! Just look at the URL structure.

maybe they've started sending interest-based messages now as well. if you look up Honda cars on the internet they start sending all your messages in japanese.

A phishing message sent from within my adsense account? It's not an email, it's right within adsense, just under a year-old message about optimising your ads (the only other message I think I've ever had from Google).
