Just want some clarification.

So to participate in the Adsense API program and share revenue that route, I need at least 100k pageviews per day [code.google.com].

Is it allowed by adsense to rotate multiple adsense IDs across an entire website?

ie. Show an author's adsense ID 95% of the time on their post pages, and show my adsense ID 5% of the time?

Would Adsense TOS have a problem with showing two adsense IDs on one page? I could see how they might.

Thanks for reading.

Google allows sharing your ad space for as long as the maximum number of products per page will remain the same.

Or you can do it something like this...

<script type="text/javascript">
var random_number = Math.random();
if (random_number < .5){
google_ad_client = "pub-PUBNUMBER1";
google_ad_width = 336;
google_ad_height = 280;
google_ad_format = "336x280_as";
google_ad_type = "text_image";
google_ad_channel ="";
google_color_border = "000000";
google_color_bg = "000000";
google_color_link = "000000";
google_color_url = "000000";
google_color_text = "000000";
} else {
google_ad_client = "pub-PUBNUMBER2";
google_ad_width = 250;
google_ad_height = 250;
google_ad_format = "250x250_as";
google_ad_type = "text";
google_ad_channel ="";
google_color_border = "FFFFFF";
google_color_bg = "FFFFFF";
google_color_link = "FFFFFF";
google_color_url = "FFFFFF";
google_color_text = "FFFFFF";
}
</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"></script>

I think Gian4 gave the source I was looking for, thanks!

Lame_Wolf, thanks for the idea! Would that not be classified as "changiing the google ad code" however? For as long as I can remember, that has been one point of the TOS that stood out to me at least.

Comments/suggestions welcome!

It is okay to do. [adsense.blogspot.com...]

"Keep in mind that generally, modifying your ad code is against AdSense program policies. However, we've checked with our policy folks and they've given our publishers permission to modify the code for use with this specific script for the purposes of A/B testing."
