Ads not showing

I've been away from my site for a year but came back to it a few weeks a ago.

My adsense ads aren't showing. I can log onto my account ok and when I look at impressions for April it shows some impressions (although nothing like the traffic I'm getting) and a few clicks. When I check the channels the impressions and clicks show on there are no ads.

If I view my website on my computer the ads show ok as expected. I even copied a page temporarily onto another hosts space and when I viewed that the ads showed ok.

I contacted my hosting provider and they replied saying there was nothing there side which would stop the ads and I should re-add my code. I've done that but still no good. Went through the google adsense help and got an automated email with tips and vids, nothing of which I hadn't already tried.

Before I try and contact Google again does anyone have any ideas what's going wrong?

Thanks

First, verify that the Publisher ID is correct on your site. It could have been accidentally deleted, or changed on purpose by a hacker.

Another thought that comes to mind would be to generate a new ad in AdSense and publish it on your site. Set up a URL channel for that page if you don't already have one. Soon, the impressions should begin to appear in AdSense. This won't tell you what's wrong with the other ads, but when I'm trouble-shooting a problem, it always helps me to have a working example.

Thanks tim222. I've added just the adsense code to a test page and it's still not showing.

Wondering if the domain in question is banned. As I said I was away from it for a while and missed out on the Privacy Policy requirement. I've added now but wonder if the lack of policy caused the domain to be banned.

What throws this theory slightly is that there are a few impressions for the domain which can't all be attributed to me opening the pages on my pc. There's also some, very low, earnings too.

Also Google didn't mention anything when I contacted them referecne teh ads not showing although there response seemed totally automated.

Any one else heard of ads being disabled for a non showing of privacy policy?

TIA
