I setup a UK site a couple of weeks ago which is getting good traffic from Google. I have noticed even though the site is based at a UK audience I am receiving hits from the US. Rather than waste this traffic I was thinking of displaying Adsense ads for non UK traffic. As I have never used Adsense before I have a couple of questions.

1. Would I be violating any T's &C's if I only include Adesne code on the page when a non UK visitor is detected?

2. Will Adsense display relevant ads based on the visitor location?

1. I don't it violates their TOS. Google's doubleclick ad manager [google.com] states it can help you control "when, where, and to whom, your ads appear. OpenX also has a geotargeting capability [openx.org].

2. That's one of the good things about AdSense, they localize the ads.

My experience has been they have a hard time knowing where the visitor is located. Or to put it another way, they seem to be wrong (often?) about where the visitor is located.
