Since so many people read blogs via a blog reader why can't you easily put adsense within the posts of a blog on blogger.com?

There are several ways people online have listed of getting them into the posts via editing the html but if they don't have an easy way of doing it does it mean that it isn't allowed?

You can only place adsense on the side bars and below and above the posts on the blog itself, not inside.

I want to have them in the posts but don't want to mess up my relationship with adsense as well. Does anyone know if this is against adsense policy somewhere?

Thank you.

I don't use Blogger, I use WordPress but hope this helps.

Does anyone know if this is against adsense policy somewhere?

Blogger is owned by Google, why would it be against their own policy?

getting them into the posts via editing the html

I don't do that in WP, quite simply I have my AdSense code blocks & links already pasted in a text editor on my desk top and select whichever I require to go where I want it to in the article I am writing.

I have a fairly standard way of doing things therefore a blog may look like this:

WordPress Post - Article Title Goes Here

In the text area:

I use a 468 x 60 block at the top followed by:

Article text and images

Depending how long the text is and how many images dictates how many ads however it is easy enough to post ads alongside images and text left or right.

Text finishes and I use a 336 x 280 block followed by my own tracking anaylsis programme code.

Job done...is that what you are asking?

FWIW my blogs' CTR is 300% of my normal CTR!

Great, thanks. Putting the adsense ad code into the posts seems like the perfect solution!

I just would figure blogger would have a widget that would allow you to insert ads into your posts but it doesn't (though it does let you put them everywhere else on the blog).

Thanks again.

One other question, does putting the html for adsense into the blog post also have your ads show up if someone uses a blog reader to read your feed?

Because adsense also now has a 'feed' feature for ads running on a 'feed reader' (!).

if you need to put adsence code in post
go to edite html and search for
data:post.body
and put this code before it
if you need add before post

if you need ads after post add it beanth data:post.body

this is code

<table align='center' background='' border='0' height='0' width='0'>
<tr><td height='0' width='0'>
<div align='center'>
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
